In order that we can demonstrate the love of Christ to the World in our practice, NCFI has committed itself to engage in practical Caring and Service activities. We acknowledge that in using both our Christian values and our professional expertise we have an opportunity to make a significant contribution towards achieving the millennium goals. We also aim to be recognized as an NGO by the World Health Organization and in so doing increase our opportunities for collaborative working in funded projects. In order to fulfill our commitment to this aim we are promoting the development of humanitarian projects at a regional level. Details of the established projects can be found on the Regional Project's Page
National Nursing Christian Fellowships, within our six worldwide regions' are encouraged to work together with their Regional Committee to identify key areas where together they can make a difference. The project or projects must directly influence the health status of a specific group or groups within the regional population. NCFI has designated small sums of money to provide seed corn funding for those projects that meet the application criteria. The Caring and Service Project sub group of the NCFI International Board will also work with applicants to develop funding proposals.
